War in the Woods Promotions, Inc. was largely formed to bring events to the Marinette area so that, from time to time, local residents have something unique to do in the area and do not feel the need to travel to the Valley or elsewhere for entertainment.

We also strive to bring out of town residents to the area to get to know Marinette/Menominee and spend their recreational Dollars here.

If you have ideas for an event, we are “all ears”.

In addition, as our budget allows, we assist other local charities. We have helped many other charities, including:

• Marinette High School Trap Club;

• Menominee Youth Wrestling;
• M & M Area Hockey Association;

• Menominee DAR;
• St. Vincent de Paul – Marinette;

• Marinette’s Haven of Hope Homeless Shelter;
• St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital;
